π’ Degen Mode
The Degen modality is the real deal, as it includes the Events deck. With pumps, dumps, rugs, regulatory enforcements, and much more... Can you survive the madness and rise as the ultimate Shitcoin Tycoon? π
What you need πβ
Hereβs your toolkit for diving into the madness of the shitcoins market:
- Shitcoiners Deck (52 Shitcoiners + 2 Joker cards, the ones with the blue back) π
- Events Deck (70 cards, the ones with the red back) π§
- Tycoon badge, (to show who's the real Tycoon) π
- Utility Cards (including the Faction Modifiers and Last Round card) π
- Frens (2 to 5 players) π¬
Setup (Degen) π οΈβ
Get your guts ready, the shitcoins rollercoaster is starting:
- Shuffle both the Shitcoiners deck and the Events deck, as if your financial future depends on it.
- Deal 3 Shitcoiner cards and 3 Event cards to each player.
- Draw the top card from the Shitcoiners deck and place it face-up. This card is the Market Maker for this round.
- Place the Last Round Card in the Shitcoiners deck, depending on the number of players:
- 5 Players -> 7th card from the bottom
- 4 Players -> 9th card from the bottom
- 3 Players -> 13th card from the bottom
- 2 Players -> 18th card from the bottom
The Shitcoin Tycoon is the player that won the previous match. If no match has been played yet, the player that bought a shitcoin most recently is the Shitcoin Tycoon.
How to win πβ
Your mission hasnβt changed from the Starter Mode: you need to increase your Portfolio value by winning Liquidity Pools, knowing that:
- Yellow coins increase your Portfolio value by a +1
- Red, broken, coins decrease your Porfolio value by a -1.

At the end, the player with the highest Portfolio value claims the title of Shitcoin Tycoon! π
Gameplay πβ
The gameplay in Degen mode consists of the following steps:
1) Draw cards and reveal the Market Makerβ
- In the first round, players draw 3 Shitcoiner cards and 3 Event cards each (as mentioned in the Setup)
- In the following rounds, players draw 1 Shitcoiner card and 1 Event card each.
- The Shitcoin Tycoon always draws first, followed by others clockwise.
- Once all players have drawn, reveal the top card of the Shitcoiners deck, and place it on the table. This is the Market Maker for this round.
2) Choose a Shitcoiner card to playβ
Each player secretly selects one Shitcoiner card from their hand and places it face-down.
3) Reveal Shitcoiner cardsβ
Once all players have placed a Shitcoiner card face-down, players reveal all those Shitcoiners cards simultaneously. Now itβs time for the real fun.
4) Play Eventsβ
After all players have revealed their cards, itβs time to play Event cards: powerful actions that can flip the odds, pump or dump the pool, or completely sabotage your rivals.
Important things to keep in mind:
- Event effects resolve immediately when played.
- Players may play one Event card per turn, in clockwise order starting with the Shitcoin Tycoon.
- Event cards are played face-up, and playing Events is optional.
If a player chooses not to play an Event during their turn, he is considered to have exited the market and may not play further Events this round.
Once each player has had a chance to play (or pass the turn), a new round of Events begins, where only players who havenβt exited the market can play another Event (always in their respective turn, clockwise).
This loop continues as long as at least two players remain in the market and are still playing Events.
When an Event round occurs here no player played any Event, the Event Phase ends, and we then proceed to determine the winner.
4) Determine the winner πβ
The winner is determined based on each Shitcoinerβs Faction and Power, taking into account any Event effects played during the round.
The winning conditions are the same as in the Starter Mode:
-
If only one playerβs card matches the Market Makerβs faction, he wins the Liquidity Pool, regardless of Power.
-
If multiple cards match the Market Makerβs faction, the one with the highest Power among them wins.
-
If no card matches the Market Makerβs Faction, the highest Power overall wins.
In case of a tie, the Tycoon chooses the winner between the tied players.
5) Add cards from the Liquidity Pool to Portfolioβ
The winner collects all the cards in the Liquidity Pool (including the Market Maker and all the Events cards that assign +/- COINS, and adds them to its Portfolio.
He then receives the Tycoon Badge, which signals that he is now the new Tycoon π©.
6) Start a new roundβ
A new round starts:
- The new Shitcoin Tycoon draws first, followed by others clockwise.
- Once all players have 3 cards again, reveal the new Market Maker.
- Players then play a Shitcoiner face-down.
- After cards are revealed, players take turns playing Event cards (clockwise, face-up).
Players who played an Event may play another one on their next turn, as long as they havenβt exited the market.
7) Last round πβ
The game continues until a player draws the Last Round card, which signals that the market has crashed and the bubble has burst. That round is the final one.
In the Last Round:
- Each player draws an additional Event card (for a total of two Event cards)
- Each player selects a Shitcoiner to play, face-down as usual.
- Additionally, each player selects a second Shitcoiner, also placed face-down. This one is added to the Liquidity Pool.
The second Shitcoiner is not revealed until a winner is declared. Then itβs added to the winnerβs Portfolio like the others.
8) Endgame & score πβ
Time to cash out! Each player reveals their Portfolio and counts their total value:
- Each yellow coin -> +1
- Each red coin -> β1

The player with the most valuable Portfolio becomes the undisputed Shitcoin Tycoon! π
